In this edition of our Client Spotlight, we're hearing from Denise Wong, a Real Estate Law Clerk at Marks & Ciraco. We asked Denise what she's thankful for in her practice, some of the moments that have made an impact this year, and how technology continues to shape the way her team works.

A Conversation with Denise:

Can you share a bit about your firm and what makes this year especially meaningful or something you're most thankful for in your practice?

‍

Our firm has been serving Mississauga and the GTA since 1996. I'm thankful to have been working with the firm for 25 years this year.

‍

What's been a standout moment or major success for your team this year that you're most proud of?

‍

A proud and standout moment was when Joseph Ciraco was appointed as a Deputy Judge in the Superior Court of Justice (2025).

‍

How has Closer helped support those successes or made a difference in the way your team works day-to-day?

‍

Our time is precious, and Closer makes a significant difference in how efficiently we can manage our files. It is incredibly easy to use and offers great integrations with third-party companies, which helps streamline our processes and significantly reduces the time we spend on administrative tasks. When we need assistance, there is always someone to assist within a minute of us reaching out.

As you think about next year, how do you see technology shaping your firm's growth or the way you serve clients?

‍

With new technology that Closer is constantly introducing, it reduces time on most tasks, allowing us to take on more clients and close deals in a shorter period of time as we are able to work faster on our deals.

‍

What's one piece of advice you'd share with other firms, and outside of work, what's something you're feeling especially thankful for this season?

‍

Our job can be stressful at times, but we are all in this together. Grateful to be working amongst a great group of professionals.
